Recolored

If you happen to have old black and white, sepia or IR (infrared) photos, you may wish to color them, for bringing them to life and making them more interesting. Also, you may want to color-correct or re-color photos with dull, faded, or inappropriate hues. For fixing this, you could use Adobe Photoshop, a popular image editor. But despite its popularity, the program has its downsides. It's expensive, requires a lot of system resources and it's difficult to master, especially by beginners. Paint can also be used, but again, the program may not please the majority of users due to its limited features. A better solution would be the Recolored software. Judging by its name, we can say that the software allows anyone to color any type of black and white or sepia photo, using various colors and settings.

Recolored can be installed with minimum effort, by any type of user, using almost any version of the Windows operating system. Besides that, it takes up little hard disk space and requires low system resources.

The interface of Recolored resembles the one of other image editing programs, thus being easy to learn by inexperienced users. One just needs to open the desired image, select a type of color from the program's categories and that's it. Speaking of which, Recolored features a lot of different colors, grouped in several categories, according to their designation. This includes lips, hair, eyes, skin and so on. Thus, it's very simple to find a desired color for a certain area of the photo.

Colors can be applied over the image using various settings. As such, the size and shape of the drawing cursor can be modified. If an image contains dull colors, it can be converted to black and white, for recoloring it from scratch.

After the coloring process has been completed, the new image can be saved in one of the image formats supported by the program or it can be printed directly.
